Katie Jackson Trail - North Dallas

Katie Jackson trail was amazing on this cool May morning! New jumps and trails on the North Loop. Best time yet at this DORBA trail! I’ve stayed away from the South Loop this go around, mainly because it’s pretty flat and not that exciting. But they are great if you are a beginner and want to just have some easy riding.

My highlights from today’s ride is hitting the jump section and the various drops they have on the North Loop. The Cowboys and Maverick drops were way more fun than I remember. Be sure to check them out when you get a chance, pending the never ending rain we’ve been getting in the DFW area.

I love coming here because it’s close to my work and it’s always quiet during the morning, especially a weekday. For a mountain bike trail that is in the middile of North Dallas, this by far totally worth it. Thanks to all the hard work by the trail stewards for keeping this trail awesome!
